First, the metal and color is amazing! The joints that control the level is sooooo strong!!! I was worried that it would slump after awhile, but it hasnt, not at all. You can adjust it up or down as far as you need to, but if you have it too far up, it will tip backwards when you put your laptop on. You can still have it pretty high but its trial and error to find the right balance. Its not heavy either so its been easy to take with me the couple times I needed to. When its higher, it makes a great camera angle!!! Been a week and still holding up phenomenally. Only con is the holes in the back to let the laptop cool are smaller and in the middle so the fan has to work kinda hard. But I put a pen at the very top and gave it the space it needed for the fan to work.

This laptop stand is pretty sturdy for the money.

This a stable product, works great to lay in bed and watch movies, stays sturdy once at position desired. I like that it allows the computer to breathe keeping it from over heating.

I LOVEEE this stand! The color is beautiful and very sturdy for an average laptop. Unfortunately my laptop is old and way too heavy so I had to return but this is perfect for anyone with a newer, lighter laptop!

Been using it since the day it arrived - no assembly required. It has a weight to it - but still light enough. Feels solid and sturdy - no wobbling or bouncing. The rose-pink colour is a nice, subtle shade, nothing gaudy or flashy. Brand logo is on the front part of the bottom panel but is done in good taste. Overall, good.

I really like the adjustability of this stand. I primarily use it on the coffee table so my computer screen is closer to eye height. When not in use I just push the stand down so it’s not taking up a ton of visual real estate in front of the tv. My old stand couldn’t do that and this stand gets the display a bit higher. The stand is nice looking as far as these adjustable stands go. I’m not a fan of the logo on the base, but that’s nit picky. What’s not nit picky is the poor stability while typing. The computer bounces when typing when the stand is at higher heights. It’s probably a flaw inherent to this kind of design but it’s a worthwhile trade off for me. Better used with an accompanying wireless keyboard.

Over the years, I’ve tried various methods to arrange my laptop, and its accompanying cordless keyboard, so as to have the best & simplest function during my work. When I spotted the JCZT Adjustable Laptop Stand (the Stand) I knew I had to try it out. Upon receipt of the Stand I did a brief examination to ascertain quality and thoughtfulness of design. It clearly appears to be heavy duty in it’s build while at the same time very simple in design. Both on the bottom of the Stand as well as a few other pertinent areas it has rubberized sticky pads to help stability. I quickly pulled out my HP 17 inch laptop, set it on the Stand, and began to manipulate both the Stand and the opening of the laptop screen in order to find the best placement of both. Out of nowhere I encountered what appears to be a major faux pas of the Stand. If the laptop isn’t balanced just right, and if the angle of the Stand isn’t just right, the laptop will immediately tip over backwards. Thankfully I was quick enough to stop this event, but it could have turned into a shattered laptop. As I examined the Stand further, I questioned why the design did not include some type of clamp at the front of the Stand (see the pic of my simple but not fully workable solution) which would easily have kept this tipping from occurring. Without some type of clamp, or some other method of holding the laptop firm to the Stand, the number of positions and/or angles for this partnership to be successful is quite limited. I reviewed the product description on Amazon and saw no indication of anything I did wrong; it just seems like this was an oversight. If the top portion of the Stand was deeper than 7.9 inches, then there’s the possibility this tipping would not occur. As for my current scenario, I have the top, screen portion of my laptop bumping up against a portion of my computer desk. If this were not so, then I’m certain my laptop would tip over backwards. In summary, unless I’m missing something on the operation of this Stand, I will only give it one star since its operation could be dangerous to a customer’s laptop. I welcome input from JCZT to clarify if I have missed something in this matter. If not, then I would encourage them to take steps to cure this error in design. 12-31-2022 UPDATE: I received an email from JCZT on December 16, which stated, in part: “Hi Norman, Thank you very much for your sharing about the product issue. Really sorry that caused you had such bad using experience due to our wrong description. This laptop stand is designed for 10-16 inch laptops. Not perfect for 17 inch or more. We sell the upgraded model which can fit 17 inch laptops. If you accept our apology, we can send you a new replacement.” I immediately checked the product description and noted they had changed the specifications so it no longer allowed for laptops up to 17 inches, only 16. Understanding that we all make mistakes, I contacted the seller and told them to go ahead and send the upgraded model. They did so – see a picture of that model as portrayed on the top of the box in which it was shipped - and within moments of receiving it I had my 17 inch laptop sitting quite pretty on top of the stand. BTW, one aspect of this stand, which is different than the one I originally reviewed, is this one has a central pivot point, allowing for the stand to turn left or right as needed. This is a very nice feature, one I’d love to see on the other stand.

This laptop stand offers a range of adjustments to both height and angle, a very stable hold on the laptop with minimal wobbling(and bonus rubberized pads if needed), and an open space underneath for a separate keyboard. Its not as heavy as some risers so its a hair less stable, but the price is significantly lower- so I feel like it offsets the slight drop in build quality with absolutely zero drop in functionality. As long as youre not trying to type on the laptop while the stand is elevated, you should be absolutely fine.

Great stand-to-angle laptop into almost any angle I would like. It is kind of hard to adjust which I assume is because there is no buttons or levers or anything to release the hinges, it has to be stiff to last a while.

Had to return it, fit side to side but my laptop wanted to fall backwards. Not enough surface support.
