I purchased this as a surprise gift for my husband’s workout at the gym. His old bag was years old and worn out. I received the color black. However, in reality, it is more like a grayish-black as shown with chocolate brown trim. It is made of heavy and durable canvas. It has straps on top of opening that he can carry by hands. There are also long straps on the side that can be detached. These straps can be worn over the shoulder. It is nice and padded on top of the shoulder strap for comfort. It has tons of space and pockets. It has pockets on the front, back, inside and sides that has zippers. The hardware that zips is well made and sewed very well. There is one major con that it does not have holders for a water or juice bottle. My husband really loves this bag. He has added patches to it. (picture inserted) He uses it every day He neatly packs it for the gym. (picture inserted) I am sure it will last him for a long time. The only reason I did not give 5 stars because of no cup holders.

Im not sure what else I can add that hasnt already been said in other 5 star reviews. The quality and durability of this bag is one you would expect to find in a bag that costs three times as much. There is PLENTY OF ROOM to pack clothes for a trip that lasts several days and enough zip up compartments for the extra little things you might want to bring along with you. I am very pleased with this purchase. The canvas material is thick but not so much that it adds extra weight to the bag itself. The zippers are of good quality and dont give the feeling that they will fail any time soon. I like the inclusion of the shoulder strap. If youre thinking about getting a great duffel bag at a great price, look no further than this one.

UPDATED 4 SEPTEMBER: While I’m still inclined to leave my rating setting at 5 stars, I’m just a tad less enthusiastic after a few uses. The bag itself is as sturdy as ever but the stitching that attaches the Velcro that holds the handles together has detached. Not a BIG deal but a nuisance, to be sure. I’ll update in the future if anything changes. The bag feels very sturdy, the big nylon zippers are smooth and strong, the bag looks and feels great and the canvas, while sturdy, is soft. Overall, I highly recommend it. When my bag arrived my wife saw it and ordered another one for herself.

Well made, right size, and love the look of it

This is a great bag for several-days traveler. it have two nice end pockets for socks/underwear and two smaller side pockets for meds, toiletries, small electronics etc. Zippers feel of good quality and it also expands when needed. Great bag for the money.
