This thing works for a charge and for a few months. The main thing I can stress is that it causes issues when connecting to the computer when you need to update it through Garmin Express. These cables do NOT allow the transmission of data to and from the PC and does NOT allow you to update the device. It caused issues with my watch and ultimately now I have to factory reset my watch to allow it to be fixed. Struggled for days wondering why my device is not showing up. Got a Garmin cable, fixed the issue. Be wary of cheap things.

This was a great substitute for the OEM cable which I misplaced. Now I have one for home and one to travel with. Since I have only had this cable for a short time, I couldnt give it 5 for durability

You always appreciate truth in an advertisement. This charging cord works exactly as advertised. My husband is only using one....the other is in reserve to be used when needed.

It’s about double the length of the original cable, works for my garmin 235 forerunner, and charges just as fast! Love that I get to have one for the car and the house. Makes it feasible for running/biking and charging for those ridiculously long days.
