Padding seems to protect car seat fairly well. We also wrap a few blankets around the carseat inside the bag to add extra padding. Also lets us sneak a few blankets with us that we cant fit in our bags ;-).

It was checked for free by the airline. No damage at all to the car seat

Bought these for my daughter to travel home with her 2 children. She says they love them! Worked out really well and protected the car seats during the flights.

We purchased our first one of these in mid-2019 for a trip across country with our 4mo old. We checked this bag containing a Graco Infant Seat and Base on the following flights: DFW-SAN, SAN-MRY, SFO-XNA. We used a yellow baggage strap and a yellow “Fragile” tag. We had zero issues. We then used it later from XNA-DCA and XNA-DEN for the same carseat and base.

Used once and it was ripped and missing the car seat after using on one flight.

We used this when we flew to protect our carseat from germs and whatever is in the luggage area and for extra cushion. It is super bulky but is able to be worn in the airport as a backpack. It fir our chicco keyfit30 with lots of room to spare!

Took on a trip overseas, there were several of these on the plane (lots of families). Protects my babys $400 Nuna Pipa with the base. The backpack straps are useful as the shape is odd and wont fit nicely on top of a luggage cart. You can use the extra space for diapers etc as checking a car seat is free! After 6 flights, bag came home looking like new!

Worked great! I was able to carry the car seat and all our bags plus the toddler all by my self!
