Its ok but there are better. for one it is not magnetic so it limits options of where you can mount it. Also I use it to measure the pitch of roofs and it doesnt have a rough surface so it slides off of roofs. If you can always keep a hand on it then buy it buy mainly my main complaint is just that the red measuring indicator gets stuck and so i have to jiggle it to get it to calculate the proper pitch.

Works great un plumbing

This thing is accurate, not very durable. Later I found better products at my local hardware store for the same price. I thought I was getting a deal...prices on these measuring devices has dropped. Check out your hardware store or Home Depot.

Got the job done on the roof today!

Ive been using this pitch meter for several weeks now, and Im very satisfied with its performance. As an insurance adjuster, I inspect roofs on a daily basis. This pitch meter is accurate, durable, and compact in size. I like the fact that I can stick it in my back pocket when Im not using it. The scale is easy to read and photograph when necessary. Its the best pitch meter I have found, and Amazon has the best price for this item.

i would rather have paid more for a larger dial
