This solves a bad design problem in the center arm rest of the Tiguan. At present it is just a black hole deep enough for things to just get lost. This tray that sits on top is such a no brainer and makes so much sense. Would definitely recommend this.

Fits nice and works great! My 3star rate is hard to remove to get into the bottom. You should have put a tab or hole to grab to make it easier to remove so you can get to other items in the bottom.

It fits perfectly and provides extra ample storage for my keys and coins and even some hand sanitizer. The material is sturdy and easy to clean. I’m quite happy with it.

I feel the console was a poor design on the Tiguan, its small & deep. A tray like this should be included from factory, but it wasnt. This tray works well and gives the joke of a console from factory, a better option for storage.

There is a hole in the bottom that small stuff falls through....I guess its for a charging cord or something. I put duct tape over it. Other than that, its great.
