Very handy troubleshooting tool for tracing CATV cable routing.

Works great to test/trace wiring without help.

I needed to map the cable runs at our house so I could install a signal amp that is back powered from inside to outside. Six runs and thirty steps between junction box outside and the inside of house warranted buying this tool. I read the basic instructions and ten minutes later I had everything mapped out. Great tool. Great design. Couldnt be simpler.

Works as advertised. Very helpful to trace the many different Coax cable runs in my old house - old Cable TV lines, old satellite TV lines and old aerial antenna lines - going to 8 different rooms in the house. Very helpful tool. Has the nice audible tone when you connect the receiver to the correct line - for which the transmitter is attached on the other end at a room wall connector.

Works great. Simple and easy to use and carry around. Necessary tool to trace coax.

The upgrades made to these are fantastic. The speaker is protected and wont blow up if connected to power and the unit powers off when speaker is on bottom.

works great but i have found that the indicator on the top (open or short) cable indicator doesnt light up all the time. Ive put it on lines i know are on a splitter and no light. Otherwise pretty sweet tool to have. better than breaking out the tone and probe kit with a rigged up jumper on it.
