JONNY CAT Cat Litter Box Liners 5 / Box (Pack of 6)

I have been using this brand for YEARS with 2-3 cats at any given time. Over a two-week time (I use crystal litter and scoop a few times a day), they hold up over all the scratching/covering ... maybe a few tiny holes. I line the litter box under the liner with a small pee-pad just in case.

Ive been using these and only these for years. I have a Mainecoon mix, so I need large litter boxes and these fit all of mine! For the ones they are a bit too big for I just use the drawstring to tighten it around the rim. They are the most durable extra large ones Ive ever found. They dont tear much as long as you keep up with trimming nails and my cats are diggers! They will scratch and scratch at the side of the litter box for 10 minutes straight sometimes. If your cat keeps tearing them anyway, I would just double up. They arent that expensive and make litter box emptying quick and easy.

Put in the litter liner and put in the litter. Trash night just pull the handles like a trash bag. Repeat. It is heavy duty and will not break open.

These liners are amazing. The ONLY thing I dont love about my cats is litter. Ive tried other liners, so as not to have to deep clean the litter box each week, but the cats scratch holes through them and the litter ends up in the litter box proper. Difficult to clean at times. Jonny Cat liners are so tough and strong they hold up for weeks, if you leave them in that long. Even with 2 cats! The only draw back is the cinch ties. Its very difficult due to the heavier plastic of the liners, to cinch them around the little box in order to prevent shifting. It would be nice if there was some elasticity in them to hold them in place. I use a lid on my larger litter box that serves to hold them in place pretty well. And the ties work well when removing the liner and litter for disposal. Its a little more work to gather them together due to the heavier plastic of the liners, but thats a small price to pay for a great product.

Weve tried a couple other litter liners and these are the best quality. They are a little large, which isnt really a problem. Also, dont plan on using the strings to fully close the bag when tying up to discard the litter because they usually break if you pull them tight. We usually just pull them enough to mostly close the liner, twist the liner closed the rest of the way, and use the string to tie a knot to keep the twist together so it doesnt open. Its not a problem for us, and its still the best liner that weve found.

I like the size. Even though it’s heavy duty, my cats can rip the liner so I have to double the liners to prevent litter from going every when I remove it from the litter box.

I hate cleaning the litter box, and I have to admit this is probably one of my dirty little secrets because I try to be environmentally conscious and not use reusable plastic but every time I clean the litter box I can’t handle it, I’m very sensitive to certain things and I almost throw up. Anyway, the liners I’ve tried in the past don’t stand up to kitty claws, and they tear them apart so it’s pointless. But this one is actually very thick and holds up pretty well. It’s not perfect, they will get a few holes in it here in there so I put a wee wee/puppy pad liner underneath it To catch what goes through the tiny little holes that their claws make. But overall it makes cleanup much easier because I can just pick up the whole thing and dump it in the garbage instead of pouring it out and scrubbing the bottom of the box. Of all the liner as I’ve ever try this is probably the best one. I’ll probably feel guilty soon and stop using it because of the reusable plastic stuff but

We have two litter boxes shared by multiple cats, and used to dread emptying and cleaning out the litter boxes. They never got completely cleaned, and were always smelly. Now that we have started using this product, that has all changed. It is now much, much easier to dump out the old, dirty litter, dispose of it in the trash can, and then refill the litter boxes with new, clean smelling litter. Sure wish we had discovrered this product many years ago.

I cant find this brand anymore in my local stores and nothing is as heavy duty as these. I have 3 kitties, all with claws and they do not dig holes in these bags. Im delighted to find this item on Amazon.
