The tools are actual tools which is the reason I purchased them. The problem was they are too heavy in the tool belt. I purchased for my grandson (4) and its a too heavy for him to wear the tool-belt with all the tools. In addition, some of the tools are actual size instead of children size where they can hold the tools with their small hands. It is more equipped for children in age range older than 10 .

My nephew loves them

This arrived in great condition and we laid each tool put to talk about what it was called and what it could do. We then used it to measure and build a little wooden car and it held up great. My son absolutely loves it and it would be a nice gift too. Im getting him the power drill for Christmas.

Much better than I anticipated.. the tool pieces are heavy, solid, very nice. I did order it for a 7 year old who loves tools, ..this will last for years. High quality. Update 8 months later.. grandson is still crazy about this tool set. What a buy!

These are not plastic toys, these are the real thing. I sent these to my grandson who is two years old and his dad is already teaching him how to use tools so I thought the small ones for his size would work. The whole family loves them.
