Gifted this to my 5 year old granddaughter. She had fun with it. The pieces are big and sturdy, and it has a little picture in the box for them to follow.

My four year old grandson loves doing this puzzle. The size and durability of the pieces are perfect for him. And he talks about the animals as he pieces the puzzle together.
