Jump Start 2nd Grade

At first I thought it would be boring and the kids would get bored with. I got it for my 7 year old, but she hasnt had much interest in it like my 5 year old does. My 5 year old is on this thing like everyday, and she is actually learning a lot. There are some fun games, learning songs, learning games, and its also teaching her to read as well. When she first started she had to kind of tour it to get to know where everything is, But that wasnt so difficult either. I love it..Good Software. Thumbs up!!

We have been purchasing the Jumpstart programs for our daughter since preschool and have been happy with all of them until now. The format just doenst work right with Windows 7 and there was no figuring out how to make the game more playable. Is there a more recent Jumpstart 2nd grade out? There has got to be. I havent found it if there is, but this has gone back a decade from the others we have. Unless your computer is very old, dont bother trying with this one.

Another great program for early elementary kids. Our 5 year old daughter likes the fact that its a bit of a challenge so she has a sense of accomplishment when she succeeds in the lessons.

It is a little dated, and I wish I could get it to play in full screen, But my son is haveing a great time learning. THIS WILL WORK ON WINDOWS 7 64BIT WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE. My son plays five days a week for several hours . (Its summer time) I feel like he will be more than prepaired for second grade.

We purchased these for our school in rural Swaziland Africa. Our school does not have access to the internet (they just recently got access to electricity!) and it was very difficult finding software that did not require the internet. THANK YOU very much for offering this so our orphans can learn!

I loved the game when I was a child. I hope to continue the tradition and pass this down.

his is an old game and not for current windows

I bought this for my 7 year old and she has already completed all the levels withing two weeks. Educational, entertaining. I would give it a 5 star if it were a little more challenging for her.

My daugther in now in 2nd grade. I bought this for her to use the summer before school started. It just did not keep her interested. She would play with it a very short time. How ironic that I tried to get her to play a computer game during the summer!! I just gave up and let her enjoy the summer. She is doing great in school and busy. I will give it away. I do not think it is a bad program, it just did not work for us.
