I like having the Garmin mounted on the stem cap. There are lower priced versions of this mount. I suggest you sped the little extra and get this one.

Die Befestigung a.d. Steuersatzschraube macht m.E. überhaupt keinen Sinn, weil man diese - klarer Hinweis meines Radherstellers - NICHT zum Festziehen (des Lenkers) nutzen darf / soll. Wenn man aber nicht möchte, dass das Garmin beim Ein- oder Ausrasten die Steuersatzschraube über die Vedrehubg der Halterung lockert, muss man dann doch einiges an Drehmoment anwenden. Und das widerspricht dann nicht nur dem Fine-Tuning des Steuersatzes, sondern hatte auch noch den unangenehmen Effekt, dass mir die Halterung den Lenker-Vorbau verkratzt hat. Geht zurück; habe jetzt das K-Edge für die Lenkerbefestigung geordert.g

This product works as advertised but the small bolts that attach the garmin mount to the aluminum body started to strip and now I can’t remove it to adjust the position. I had it installed fine but needed to loosen the mount to position it more center with the stem and while trying to loosen one of the small bolts (2mm), it started stripping. I only had it tightened to 3nm.

So good I bought 2 for each of my bikes. Smart install allows you to tighten the cap while Harmon mount is installed. Helps with alignment. Very well made and thought out.

Eigentlich eine gute Halterung, nur leider bricht diese viel zu leicht, sollte man beim Absteigen mal mit dem Knie an das Garmin kommen.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but after reading the reviews I thought I’d go ahead and try it. It works perfectly and is very secure. I already ordered another one for my other bike.

Love this thing on my Mt bike. My garmin has never come off (xc, light DH, jumps, etc), and its made it through a number of crashes. I really want to thank the makers of the product. I recently took a nasty header over the bars and smashed my knee on my device as I was going over. The crash broke the plastic wings in this mount because the plastic was slightly less strong than that on the back of my gps. The mount broke, the garmin didnt. This was exactly what I would expect to happen with a quality product. It saved my device, and Im replacing the mount with the exact same one (new color). Thank you!
