Thought it would be great for my son ripped apart in less than a month.

My kid LOVES these and I live that the size is adjustable so they’ll grow with him for years! All three of my kids have the same ones.

First real skates for my 6 year old and he is doing much better with these than the cheap beginner skates. They have held up very well while he learns to skate better (so a lot of falls). Would definitely recommend.

My Son used it. His size is 1 now. Its a bit difficult to slide and change size. The button needs to be pressed really hard.

We found my sons 1st K2s at a thrift store as we wanted to be sure that he enjoyed it before spending good money on a pair. We lucked out finding tge K2s. Well those have lasted and are still in great condition. The only issue was that he grew out of them. I knew that I was going to buy him brand new K2s because of the durability from his 1st ones. They are worth the cost of them because they are durable and I love that he can grow into them.

My son loves these. Says they are very comfortable. Wheels roll well. They are holding up well despite his antics.

These are good quality skates for the price BUT my 8 yr old son wears a size 4 and we had to adjust these to the size 7 position for him to be comfortable. Other than that, they seem very well constructed and sturdy so overall very pleased with this purchase!

Preface, in my youth I skated aggressively, the skates that allow grinding and going up and down bowls, half pipes, and off kicker ramps. In the early 2000s k2 was well known for aggressive skates (see above). While they’ve almost completely ditched the aggressive skating scene they do make quality skates for kids. I bough two pairs of these for my kids, and one my kids nearly won’t take them off so… +1 for comfort. They’re adjustable and will last awhile since k2 has been making skates for decades. One of the 1star reviews above states the straps were all torn up after first use. Yes, these are starter skates and if your kiddo falls the wrong way on them they will rip up the straps. As for mine the straps have survived several months of falling and are still in good condition. If your kids are taking interest in jumping off ramps, over small grass medians or just general high speed technical tricks then these skates are not for them. Soft boots (which these are) allow far too much movement of the foot inside the skate for excellent stability. In the rare case your kiddo is going to the skate park or interested in doing tricks / jumps then get them a hard boot (k2 does not sell hard boots anymore with the exception of one boot). Summary, great first learning skate for kids, adjustable to size up with them. Comfortable, stable enough for a young learner. These are meant for the casual skater / learner. Removable brake is a big plus for those kids learning to slow / stop without them. My oldest (younger than 10) doesn’t need the brake anymore.

I’m surprised that it doesn’t come with the ‘tools’ to tighten the screws on the wheels to make minor adjustments to them.
