I was hesitant about if it would balance my decent sized surface pro, but it does a great job and feels quite sturdy. Its a little stiff to adjust, but thats not a bad thing in terms of stability.

Fits my Google Pixel Slate with Keyboard case just fine. It is a bit tight with the case on. I can imagine thicker cases having trouble fitting.
