> 3 dayThis is a very well made tablet stand. I purchased it for my Amazon Kindle Fire 10. The holder is a little wide for that tablet and I suspect it may be a little wide for some other tablets as well unless they are in a case The snugness of fit in the horizonal groove on the stand depends on the type of case you have on your tablet. I have a thin type on my tablet but if I had a thicker folio case I think it would be more snug.

> 3 dayNicely built and material is excellent. I use it as a dock for my Surface pro. It lets it be used like a 3rd monitor.

> 3 dayI use a usb monitor as my 2nd monitor when Im working in Photoshop. I keep my panels and docks and the 2nd monitor and leave all the space on my high dollar graphics monitor for the pictures. I tried one of the stands that grips your monitor and I think it screwed up the backlighting on my fairly expensive usb monitor. Imagine the bezel of a laptop monitor and thats how light my usb monitor is. The clamping pressure, I think, cause some backlighting problems with my usb monitor. An ipad was sturdy enough to not be damaged. After my usb monitor was replaced I found this item. Perfect for my use. I have the bottom edge of my monitor raised about 4 with this stand and the arms are about 45 degrees so I could probably raise it another 3-4 if I want. Its a solid stand despite the arms being plastic. Base is heavy enough to keep things from tipping over, not sure if that would be the case raising my monitor another few inches. The grips are padded, the back support is padded. A person could put velcro on the back and another strip on whatever you are holding and its not going anywhere. I would buy it again.

Greater than one weekI have multiple of these so I can take the ipad from room to room and set it down without worrying about it. Theyre stable as hell, and stiff to adjust which is great because you know theyre not gonna be moving on you from where you put them.
