The scissors I received looked like used, since has little scratches and it is not perfect, but I was needing it and the return process was kind of a hassle so, disappointed and all I decided to keep it. It works as reviewed by other customers, sharp and precise cut, I am careful to keep my fingers out of the cutting range, almost perfect for the reasons explained. If a brand new scissors were sent, it would be perfect.

These are my favorite scissors to use in my quilting. They cut beautifully.

These scissors cut wonderfully. They are not too heavy. They ARE very sharp. Im very happy with them and would highly recommend them. They are NOT for children, but come with a great cover to protect the blades and keep them safe while stored.

Third pair Ive purchased. Finely serrated. Substantial excellent quality. I even clipped a skin tag with them next to my eye (after thoroughly sanitizing them before and after) with no problems (dermatology wait of six weeks). Great for applique. And Karen K Buckley is a wonderful person having taken a year long class with her.

These scissors are wonderful. Very, very sharp with an excellent point on the end. Comfortable to use for a long time of cutting. I used them to cut out shapes for appliqueing motifs for a quilt. The best scissors Ive ever used for this. I will be buying all sizes.
