My entire house is set up with TPLink smart devices, controlled conveniently from the Kasa the app. I have about 5 cameras, light switches, and also these plugs. The operation works great. I love them because I can control each of my plugs independently. I have bought a few of these to set up my elaborate Christmas display each year. I also have two for year-round use on outdoor lighting. They have held up very well. Overall great product!

This outdoor dual plug has exceeded my expectations. It works flawlessly with both the app on my phone & Alexa, & resets itself with no issues after power outages. I bought the first a few years ago, & a second last year. Highly recommend.

I like that its Wi Fi and works great and with phone and Alexa. I have looked at others that are higher priced.

This thing is so fast to turn off and on. Like you touch the phone screen and they turn on, is ridiculous how fast this thing is. Durability will determine the if I keep it at 5 stars (hopefully at least 2 years)

I got this to use with my holiday decorations. It works perfectly. If the directions are followed you do have to be aware that if water gets into it, he will either short or cause GFCI outlets to trip. When using outdoors, it’s best to make sure the plugs are facing down and are clear of the grounds of water and mud don’t splash up into them.

Paired with the kasa app and used with Alexa. I named it salt and pepper. Just ask Alexa to turn on either one or both . I use it for a string of fairy lights on patio banister and for seasonal lighting .

I purchased two of these to control my holiday lighting after years of continuous adjustments of dusk/dawn/timer activated controls. One of my outlets is in my external entryway and the other on a external wall. It is very easy for me to use the Kasa app to control my lighting, and was a piece of mind to make it look like I was home while turning them on from anywhere. I was unsuccessful at setting up a routine with Alexa but that could just be me. I honestly didnt spend a lot of time trying to figure it out after setting up groups, routines, etc. and giving up after the lights didnt come on by themselves for a few days. I just set a calendar reminder on my phone. It was also nice to be able to turn them on before I came home with guests for the holidays and surprise them!

This device works really well and the wifi range is a lot better than expected, used on the outside and so far is working as expected, no one single complain about it. Great work TP Link, thanks.

I have had very good luck with all Kasa automation products. For this, I needed an outdoor plug-in switch to run my patio party lights. Very easy to hook up to our home wifi system and integrate with our Echo devices. There are two plugs, so you can control two things separately if you want. Overall, very easy setup and use. I did install an new outdoor receptacle cover to make this up to code, since I am leaving it plugged in all of the time.

I bought both the Kasa Outdoor Smart Plug AND the Smart Light Switch. I like them, they work great and dont require Googles Alexa Spy on you device. The app is pretty good, Im actually impressed with it. Some features that are missing though...hint hint Kasa development team...setting a schedule for a group of devices. It already lets you group devices together and turn them all on and off manually as a group, but it does not let you schedule that way, so you have to set the schedule individually for each. ALSO it would be nice if we could add + or - minutes to Sunrise & Sunset times on the schedule. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Especially in winter on cloudy days, it gets dark well before sunset and stays dark after sunrise. Id like the lights to come on 30 minutes before and stay on 30 minutes after.
