> 24 hourThe silver fringe worked perfectly fine but as I was taking it out of the manufacturer packaging, it smelled horrible. I could not even describe what it smelled like but it was so disgusting I had to put it back for a second because I started gagging. If you buy this, I would recommend taking it out the day before and letting it air out before you have guests around it. It might have been a fluke and I got a random bad smelling one but just incase!
