Bought to remove a recent latex spill off from the bricks of my mantle. Gold brush head did nothing to impact the bricks. The gray brush head scuffed the area, so that the white paint spills look gray and black. It did not remove the paint. At least my bricks are a darker red brick, so that it’s less immediately obvious. The photo was taken after grinding for close to 15 minutes. Stopped as there was no change in the volume of paint, only the color changed. Very disappointed in the product.

These are great for sanding my iron porch railings. Before I tried just regular sanding and that was a lot of work with very poor results. With these wheel brushes I get great results with a fraction of the work.

JUST WIRE BRUSHES

Both brushes work great. The heavy duty knotted one really eats into caked on material and the brass wire one takes off light duty material without gouging.

Great idea but the drill doesnt spin fast enough for the tool to actually really strip paint the way I thought it would.
