Based on past experience, I skipped the hunt for filters and the drive and I ordered online. Fit perfect and old filter is out with very old oil. Lawnmower maintenance is done by me all the time. Mower is 2013 Cub Cadet LTX 1046 Lt with Kawasaki engine.

The filter I received is not a Kawasaki filter. I will be returning it. See the photos. Made in China. The Kawasaki filters have a sticker on them. This one does not. The box has a Kawasaki sticker with the part number stuck over the top of a generic fitment sticker for a B&S part number. Id rather pay a few dollars more at the Cub Cadet dealer than use this made in China replacement filter.

OEM filter for 23 hp kawasaki FX730V engine on my Exmark Radius X-series zero turn mower. Came as described in the Kawasaki packaging, I will be ordering again when time for the next oil change. About the same as comparable aftermarket quality filters like WIX etc. For now I am just going to stick with OEM.
