> 3 dayThis bedding poses a serious health risk to your small pet. Pine and cedar bedding can harm your pets respiratory system. If you are looking for a cheap wood bedding I would recommend aspen shavings, which is a safe alternative.

> 3 dayI bought this for my rat cage, since the bedding I would normally purchase would not be delivered for almost a month. I am so disappointed! This is rough and scratchy, not at all fluffy like the other brand, and it has a really strong smell of pine, which I assume will be good for smell absorbency, but is really strong when first putting it in their cage. I would not recommend this for small cages, the strong scent would knock out your pets. My girls are hanging on their top tier, away from this bedding, which likely hurts their little feet.

Greater than one weekVery harmful for gerbils!! Purchased this bedding and now my gerbil is very sick with a respiratory infection! Taking her to a vet today! Which will probably be expensive!!! Do not use for small pets!!! Even though they say its for small pets its not! Ask any vet, they dont approve of pine!!! This company should be ashamed of themselves! My sweet daughter has cried multiple times over her gerbil being sick and the gerbil might not survive! Not cool you guys! Take this product down!!

13-06-2025This bedding is NOT safe for small animals. Dont be fooled by the pictures on the bag! The oils in the wood can severely damage your pets lunges and is potentially lethal. May be safe for some animals, but do not use for hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, rabbits etc.

> 3 dayIt does absorb the urine from my pet but it doesnt control the smell really.. I gotta put air freshener and plug ins to controll the smell but even that barely helps..I thought this pine shavings would help and smell good, but it doesnt really..

Greater than one weekUsed for Guinea Pigs, did the job, the only problem was that opening the bag and pouring the pine bedding, there is an incredible amount of fine dust that gets released into the air. Don’t think I will be using this again.
