KEEN Unisex-Child Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandals

> 3 dayMy 7 year old daughter lives in these shoes during the summer. Her summer camp does not allow open toe sandals or Crocs - so these Keen Newport shoes are perfect. The sandal protects her toes, but keeps her feet cool. She does not wear socks in the sandals and we have not had any issues with blisters. I have read other reviewers indicate they can put these in the washing machine - we have not done this, but we have cleaned them in the sink with no issues. This is really the only shoe my daughter needs in the summer.

> 3 dayMy child has Hot feet and hates athletic shoes...but her school gym days require athletic shoes. Well solved that with this shoe! School approved! Gives her lots of gripping ability along with the breath-ability so her feet dont get hot. And when winter hits I can put a thick sock on her. Very pleased!

> 3 dayWE love these shoes for the kids during the Summer. They run around and be crazy without having to worry about losing a sandal. Only downside they can be a tad bit tricky to get on.

> 3 dayMy 7 year old grandson used these for a trip to an Florida State park island where we were at the beach and also miles of hiking on the interior of the island. He wore them for 3 days and no blisters or complaints. Good toe and heel protection. A lot of models lack the closed heel protection which was an important feature for me.

> 3 dayVery durable & comfortable! Still going strong & in good condition after over 6 months. This kid of mine usually destroys shoes in that time. These she will outgrow before theyre beat up! Love them! Theyre her favorites as well.

Greater than one weekMy son likes these shoes! He is 4, and picky! He thinks they are awesome. I like them BC they are a sandal, but protect his precious toes! Good for bike riding, playing in the hose, and running in. Good all purpose shoe. Good quality, and so far no stinky feet!

> 3 dayOur son outgrew his previous pair, so we bought him the exact ones but in a larger size. He was 2 yo and preferred wearing these and could put them on himself and take them off by himself. Hes now 3 and is happy we bought him a new pair.

Greater than one weekI am a woman with small feet. The womens keens were $20 more than these. I wanted paddle shoes, for less money. So I bought the Big Kid shoes! Huzzah! They are the perfect length, but I was a little surprised that they were kind of narrow for a kids shoe. I wouldnt want to go hiking in these, since they are a little narrow, but they are great for my purposes of paddling and short portages. They dry quick even if youre still wearing them when wet, and dont irritate my feet if Im wearing and walking in wet shoes. These would probably also be a great choice for water parks in the summer because theyll keep your feet protected walking around at a water park and not chafe as they dry. The one bummer is that if you get a little pebble or something through the holes you have to take the sandal all the way off to get it out.

> 3 dayI love Keens and my kids do too. We have owned several pairs and have never before experienced the awful stench as we did with these shoes. Washed them several times and after one use, the nasty stench was back! It became embarrassing and we bought a different brand.
