**8 Month Update** Unsurprisingly, this comb has held up amazingly well over the past eight months. The gold lettering on the comb itself has faded and worn away, but not a single tooth has broken. I havent been exactly gentle with it, either, since I take it just about everywhere I go and travel often. I definitely recommend it, and Ive even broken down and purchased one of their expensive beard brushes as well because of the quality of the comb. ------------------------------------------------------------- Ive been using the same kind of comb for years, and I really didnt think that I needed anything better. My biggest gripe was the fact that the teeth tended to break often, so I decided to try something new. I try to get high-quality versions of things in my life that I use daily, and I feel like this was definitely a good buy. First off, this comb is probably the right size for you, unless youre used to really, really big combs. Its kind of confusing when trying to compare the sizes. This isnt a pocket comb, but very much like the standard combs Im used to using. Its quite a bit thicker and heavier, but the teeth spacing is about identical. I can use the fine side on my beard, and the regular side on my head hair. Ill be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed when I first opened the packaging. Its encased in a kind of cheap-feeling plastic sleeve, and the lettering on the comb looks pretty generic and blah. I know that it seems crazy to even point that stuff out, but this is more expensive than the combs we are all probably used to using, so I feel like some better packaging would be nice. The comb itself has a nice smooth feeling and weight in the hand. Its very pleasant to hold. Surprisingly, it feels quite nice to comb your hair with this. I mean, its still just a comb at the end of the day, but it definitely feels better than the cheap combs I was previously using. No, it didnt cure world hunger or make my hair look any different, but its nice to know that Im not shredding apart my hair with cheaper plastic every day. I would definitely keep buying these combs, especially since they feel like theyre built to last. If youre going to comb your hair every day, you might as well get a good one.

This Kent styling comb has worked wonders on my thick hair. I wish I would’ve purchased it months ago!

Good & solid comb with heavy weight. Does not scratch scalp. Comb had a lot of hairline scratches on it which might be due to materials used. Either way, this comb will last a lifetime!

How can I have used a cheap comb all these years? One day with this and I regret the past 30 years of my life! Haha. Amazing comb! Feels good on the scalp and slides through my hair smoothly! I love it!

Had trouble justifying the cost until I used it. Amazing difference from plastic molded combs. Slides through my hair with no resistance and doesn’t scratch the scalp. I’ll never go back.

I have bought this exact Kent handmade comb twice for my brother. He asked me to find a comb that didnt scratch his scalp. Thought he was being overly picky at first; but then I tried out one of his cheap black plastic combs. I searched on Amazon using comfortable comb for men and found these Kent combs in various shapes and sizes. After he received it, my brother elected to sand it some with a diamond nail file that I passed on to him to use. Not sure the Kent comb needed the extra smoothing step. Then he used it until he lost it. I showed him my Mason Pearson celluloid styling comb that I have had for decades. It glides through my hair with no breakage and is hand polished. I asked my brother if he wanted to step up to the Mason Pearson comb: another imported brand that costs 3 times as much the Kent comb. The Kent comb is a high-value comb, well-made quality comb, sold at a reasonable price. The Mason Pearson combs, along with their brushes, are styling instruments you should buy if you want to spend a lot more; and plan to use them for a lifetime on hair that needs to lots of care and management.

This comb is as advertised. Its seamless, sturdy, comfortable , large and all around great. But it creates A LOT of static. This is really only a problem on dry hair . If its wet or has pomade in it, it really isnt an issue. But is you like combing your hair dry, id recommend an anti-static comb (like combs made out of carbon). Wish i had known this before spending $15 on a comb....

This is a high-quality comb. Worth every penny. Have bought two of them. I use them for my beard, which is slightly coarse. It flows nicely through my beard compared to a typical comb, which get tanged easily and pulls hair out.
