I bought this for my elderly chihuahua, he gets cold so easy. He loves it!

My two rescue kittens were not keen on sleeping on my bed with an electric blanket. They chose to sleep on a blanket on the floor. Being wintertime and floors are cold, I was not satisfied with this arrangement. I bought two beds for them and it was a hit. They love sleeping on their own warm beds and have not slept on the floor since I got them. I am more than happy with my purchase.

It doesn’t feel very warm just to the touch, but really it’s perfect! When my 17 yo kitty lays on it, it’s verrrry warm. Now I know she’s warm even if the house gets cool. I put a blanket on it, to keep it clean. Also I banked the sides of the blanket up, to make it cozier on the cooler days. It hadn’t affected my electric bill, happy about that!

Thought the side would be taller. Other than that. Nice product.

Longer power cord would have been nice. Needed to use an extension cord. My mostly outdoor cat seems to love it - he sleeps in it when he comes indoors.

What is there to say except that my cat likes a warm spot to sleep. I have it on my desk and my cat loves the warmth of it. It doesnt get super hot, but its warm to the touch. The cord is also easy to hide away if the bed isnt moving around at all.

Cat seems to enjoy it

I moved to a new home where the heating vents are now in the ceiling. My 17 year old Russian Blues used to sit on the vents that were on the floor at their old home. So I purchased these two beds for them. I found normal heating pads get too hot for them. Within 30 minutes my cats were curled up and sleeping on their new beds. I sat in the beds for less than 1 minute so they would sense the heat and it worked. Even though it is 60 degrees where I live, their age has made them arthritic and need heat. I am hoping it will help them. Very pleased with my purchase. If my cats are happy then so am I!

I was skeptical that the pressure sensitivity—allowing this to only turn on when a cat was in it—would work reliably. I was disappointed to learn that this feature doesn’t seem to work at all. The heater is on anytime it is plugged in. Even so, it hasn’t attracted any of our cats more than once in the several weeks since I received it.

I wasn’t sure if my cat would use this so I bought one to try. They now fight over it or try to fit both with no success. Back to buy a second one!
