Went with this over Dynamat and a few popular brands and Im very happy with it. It came with a lot more than I expected. Ill definitely be buying some more to finish off my car. I might used it to kill rattles and vibrations. My next application will be to knock out even more road noise along with some MLV. Definitely would recommend buying this if youre installing a system or even just a few subs. Hell, do it just to make your car quieter inside. I even slapped some on the backside of my license plate and its dead quiet now.

Transit van

Great for sound deadening in my van build! Used one box so far and already a huge difference in road noise, will be getting one more box to finish up a few door panels and the cab box!

Bought this to add to some random areas of my car. This thickness was good because it was easy to manipulate into corners, curves, etc. But also wasnt too bulky if you add a 2nd layer as i did in my trunk. Overall, the road noise has reduced and ill be adding more as i take more sections apart.

I can now crank up my music to max, and shut the doors. I am unable to hear any music except some very muffled bass thumps. I cannot even hear the midrange and tweeters at full blast. This is just with the interior door panel trim lined completely with this stuff. I have a BMW 335i so there is some built in insulation glued to the metal panels, but I could still easily hear before...now its silent. Very strange. That means I can now yell at people over the phone and nobody in the parking lot will look at me funny.
