> 3 dayWorks as advertised, I replaced my laptop hard drive with this SSD and now it runs like a brand new computer. It used to boot up in 2 minutes and now it only takes 30 seconds.

> 3 dayWorking just fine for me. Super easy install. I used this and 4Gb of ram on a 2011 Dell laptop and easily breathed new life to it and will easily serve my needs. Super fast bootup and programs perform quite well.

Greater than one weekI bought 1 used and ended up getting 6 used SSDs from Kingston and PNY in a plastic bag. I wasn’t charged for the extra ones so I was very pleased with my purchase.

> 3 dayWorking great and so far running good. Its in a older macbook and boot time is just a little bit faster. Wished I got the larger one as not much more. But 120gb is fine.

> 3 dayI love how the computer is much faster. This is currently in a Dell Inspiron 1764 with 8 GB memory running Windows 10, and it is my daily work horse. The install was very quick. I just removed the screws from the underside plate and snapped it off, and removed the old hard drive from the SATA port and inserted this one. The computer recognized it upon booting up to the BIOS, so I went ahead with the install of the OS. Windows 10 loaded up faster than it did on the old hard drive. It is a nine year old computer, and it runs better and faster than the first day of use 9 years ago. Boot up time is 2 seconds every time. Shut down has similar results. All apps open instantly, unlike the original hard drive that took over 10 seconds to open a web browser and over 20 seconds to open media files. Games also load up quicker than before. Saving documents, spreadsheets, and presentation files is instant. Saving mp3 files after editing them took minutes to do in the past, and now it takes less than 5 seconds. I purchased a similar product for my 14 year old laptop before making this purchase and decided on this Kingston SSD because it costs $10 less, and I felt like using a different brand. I enjoy using this laptop much more than ever before. I feel like I can get several more years of use out of this laptop. The storage capacity seems sufficient because I can push my media files to an external hard drive as it fills up. I only have one regret. I wish I did this upgrade sooner. Everyone should stick an SSD like this in their old computers and continue using them for several more years.

> 3 dayI have purchased four of these drives, and the two which received the highest use have failed within three years. The other two are still going, but in occasional-use-only laptops. I have SSDs from other brands in desktops that are pushing 8 years of 24x7 service (and mechanical drives in 24x7 service also way longer than 3 years). So lifetime is the measure of good for this review. These drives are, purportedly, an older design lacking some features that would improve speed and reduce wear (yes, SSDs wear), and likely also use a chip technology that has a lower life to begin with (life is really determined by how many writes the chips can tolerate, which is what causes wear in this technology). So, maybe not so good. But, pretty fast, and definitely cheap.
