> 3 dayIt is the exact replacement fit. The oven is ready for baking, again. I cant really comment on the longevity of this new oven element, because only time will tell. However, the fact that it is a genuine, American made unit, I have no reason to think that it will fail in a short time. The original served us for 7 years.

19-11-2024We were able to fix our oven ourselves with this piece. Remember to turn off electric. I wanted to just get it done but my tired mom brain wasnt thinking and I shocked myself pretty good.

> 3 dayIf you can use a screwdriver and watch YouTube you can change this element. If you can use a multimeter even better but not required.

> 3 dayI would lower my rating to 1 star except they sent a replacement quickly and honored their wannity. Range model number wfe710hoae0. My range would not get up to temperature. Pre heating very slow. Repair man here 20 minutes stated it needed a new heating element, that advice cost $106.00. Did not have the part had to order and was going to charge me for the part and the 2 day shipping and additional labor. Look on youtube repair seemed simple enough. Found the baking element part# and ordered it. I was not to easy to install because I am not nimble any more so reaching deep into the stove was a little problem. Also some of the cheap chinese sheet metal screws where stipping on the way out. Replaced with stainless steel. Far back screw holding element needed a magnetic screwdriver. If it happens again I would replace one of the heating elements or the temperature sensor. All are simple for a nimble person. I would give it 5 stars except but do not know how long it will keep working. Repair man stated many of the new stove fails before 5 years. Love things made over seas.

> 3 dayWe discovered a faulty baking element when the oven temperature would not rise above 315 degrees F; and it took over 30 minutes just to get to that point. Upon removal, the old element had visual damage to one of the bends, and when checked with a multimeter there was no continuity/resistance. After research, a new part was found on Amazon at a great price, and available for speedy delivery. The item we received was an exact replacement for use in a Whirlpool model WFE540H0AS0. The size and shape of the baking element was the same, and even the markings on the badge were identical. Just for giggles, we checked the resistance of the new element and it measured at approximately 17 ohms -- which depending on your reference -- is apparently in the ballpark of what you should expect. Overall, the part was delivered quickly, packaged safely, and works as expected. After a quick, easy installation the oven is back in business. Let pizza time commence!

> 3 dayMy oven wasn’t heating and due to the shield over my bottom main element, I didn’t notice it was not heating until troubleshooting why. This would have been a super easy fix for my oven had the wires not slipped back into the oven upon removing the old element. If you make sure to keep hold of them, this is super quick. Still going strong 2 months later.
