Having only two things to compare to a cheap Chinese knock off which broke in less then a year and the stock head band that came with the quest both sucked in their own special way, needless to say I was done with cheap stuff. So I decided that should act upon the recommendations from other users . The kiwi pulled ahead by light years in comparison, it is comfortable and easy to use where the others were not. Upon putting it together, which was brease, to putting in it on which wasca new experience. The set takes away the weight of the unit and boy is it comfortable. Definitely worth every penny.

This thing is thousands times better than the cloth strap that came with the Quest 2. It takes away the strain from the top of the head and secure the headset in place really nicely. With this new head strap, I can comfortable do VR modeling on the Quest 2 for hours. The stock cloth strap would make my head feel very painful at the area of contact because of the concentrated distribution of force. The quality of this Kiwi headstrap is probably on par with the official pro strap if not better. It really helps to spread out the pressure on your head. I swear the Quest 2 is not complete without this strap.

This lived up to the hype. Very comfortable and enough range to handle my big noggin. Installation was pretty easy, but the instructions skip the part about how to disconnect the installed side straps. Not hard once you figure out the plastic tabs on the sides of the visor are not removable (they contain the speakers, so that would be bad). You have to pry the outer pieces off. The hard plastic back piece makes choosing a carrying case problematic, its about 8 wide and NOT flexible. It didnt fit into the SARLAR case I bought, even though someone answered a question about this saying it does. This taught me to read ALL the answers to a question, not just the one that is showing (See picture for issue I encountered)

Purchased to replace original elastic strap. This one is better and outperforms the original. Happy with the purchase.

Up until now I used the regular, flimsy original head straps for Oculus2. I have a small (and rather flattish in the back head). The VR would always slide down on my nose, or I would tighten is so hard that it gave me headache. So I started using a counterweight battery pack and that works not too bad if Im able to set it up the perfect way and not touch. The KIWI headstrap is another level of comfort. Since I need to tighten it quite a lot, the feature of it bending at an angle really helps to put it on and take it off. The straps are soft and dont cause me headaches. The VR sits on my head tightly and comfortably. I really recommend it. Its also very easy to install, it took me a total of 5 minutes to replace the straps and start enjoying my new VR headset feature.

The old headset made it difficult to enjoy the game, but this headset, along with the new face mask, makes playing effortless!

When I first got my Quest 2 headset the straps that came with it gave me headaches every time I played and severely limited my play time unless I was feeling stubborn enough to deal with the pain. Itd be a safe bet after 2-3 hours of play (basically nothing for me), and sometimes much less than that, Id have a pretty severe headache for the rest of the day. I installed this strap setup and the headaches are pretty much entirely gone. Ive played for at least one full charge every day since I got this product and played for ~12 hours (including a charge break) the day before writing this review and the difference is beyond night and day. The worst thing Ive experienced is occasionally a hair might get tugged but that has happened maybe once or twice so far. The strap and back pad are nice and soft. The adjustment is easy and doesnt change with gameplay (unlike the original strap) unless you change it yourself. The adjustment is controlled by a dial on the plastic section behind the back pad and clicks when tightening. The up and down pivot ability is also helping to keep the lenses cleaner too since as advertised you put it straight on then lower the strap setup rather than sliding it all down over your face and hair. Installation was very easy too. The worst part for me was the visor removal but thats just because I always do things like that slowly and deliberately to help make sure I dont break anything. Its really simple and easy to get it done. Its also making the use of a link cable easier as the side portions are flexible plastic allowing much better use of my cables provided retention strap. There is no pressure at all on the sides of your head and the back pad cradles the back of your head in its soft foam while the top strap sits like the original but is also made of that same foam. The artificial leather covering the foam it also very soft and smooth. The whole thing is significantly more comfortable and it does a significantly better job of distributing pressure without making you feel like your head is going to pop. It also adds a little weight to the back of your head giving a bit of counterbalance the old elastic straps couldnt provide. Ive mostly played Hotdogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades (which is an absolutely fantastic game btw) and some Pavlov since I got it and tend to be quick and aggressive with movements including turning. Provided its properly adjusted it doesnt move. Still have to try Blade & Sorcery with it but I have no doubt itll do every bit as well with that too. The only real issue I can think of is if you bend down too far and its loose enough theres a risk of it falling off. Just dont try to look between your legs and keep it properly adjusted and you should be good lol. Id rather deal with this minor risk than the relentless pressure of the original straps any day. This product made my Quest 2 much more playable and fun. Do yourself a favor and ditch the elastic straps your headset likely came with and buy one of these today.
