Purchased for my son. He installed it himself and was so happy with how it fit and the comfort. He was fed up with the original strap that came with the OQ2. He said he no longer has a sore head. So were overall happy with this purchase.

I have the Basic Kiwi elite strap, without the headphones. I love it so I assumed this one would be just as good, if not better. I was not disappointed. It actually improved on the original in a couple ways. The most obvious is the addition of the headphones. The ear pieces have a soft covering for your ears. So it is extremely comfortable. The sound is also really good and plenty loud enough. When playing a game like Beat Saber, it is especially good. Only negitive about it is that it makes it harder to hear your surroundings. But, to compensate for that, the earphones are adjustable so you can just let them sit a little higher on your ears. The other bonus is that the ability to tilt the headstrap to make it easier to put on or take off. The Original strap did that as well, but this one tilts up higher. There is a lot of cushioning on top and behind your head, which makes extended play sessions comfortable. It also stays snuggly in place without having to tighten it too tightly. There is no fear of it falling off your head. It tightens with a wheel at the back of the strap, and, as I mentioned, it tilts allowing an easier time to get it on or off. The only real Negitive I can say about this item is that it doesnt have a built in battery pack. But it doesnt claim to. It would just be nice. However, Kiwi sells a holder that attaches right to the strap. With this strap, you place the battery holder at the back of the strap, on the bottom of the head cushion. Then place a battery pack (which you do have to buy extra. The battery doesnt come with the holder.) But you dont feel the extra weight or the extra battery. All that costs extra though and, although nice, it is not necessary, especially if you dont play for long stretches of time. But this Elite Strap is an easy recommendation.

This KIWI design headphone head strap for the Meta Quest 2 is not perfect but really nice. Here are my thoughts. - Easy to install. - Works with whatever face interface you want, including the BoboVR fan. - Is for the most part comfortable to wear. Though due to the lack of a batter pack on the back of the head strap, theres some slight forward pressure. Significantly less so than the original strap, but its still noticeable. -The built in headphones are really nice. They are slightly awkwardly placed since the supports they are on cant slide along the head strap to line up with your ears. The ear phones do slide up and down the supports to a point, so there is some adjustability, and I was able to get them comfortably on my ears. It just seemed odd they were attached to the strap so far forward. -The sound is better than expected. Im not an audiophile and Im not using it to listen to music to perfection, so for me they are great. I can hear well, it sounds good and gives you a bit better of a feel of immersion than the headset speakers. -There is no battery that comes with this strap. To me thats a bit of a bummer (not unexpected as I knew it didnt have one before I got it) as thats a huge plus to 3rd party straps. Most come with extra batteries to extend/support the life of the headset during use. Not a deal breaker. Just more of a want. Over all its a nice, comfortable headset with built in headphones for a more immersive experience.

The on-ear audio setup on this strap is very similar to what Valve has on the Index and what HTC has on their Deluxe Audio strap (DAS). For several years people have been modifying the DAS for use on their Quest. Its called frankenquesting and required an expensive DAS as well as bracket to connect the DAS to the Quest. The reason for this was that the DAS and Index setups both place the speakers close enough to your ears to provide excellent sound quality while still allowing you to be able to hear your surroundings. This strap allows you to have the excellent on-ear sound without having to go through the hassle of purchasing a DAS and having to find the correct adapter. Its also less than half the price of the DIY solution. The strap itself is comfortable. I wish they made it in a Halo style strap but Im willing to live with that for the amazing audio. Overall Id easily give this 5 stars. Kiwi has made a great name for themselves in the VR market for their headset/controller add-ons. This is another fine product theyve produced.

The product is a nice addition to the Quest 2. It was not too complicated to install and it added a level of comfort to the headset. The sound is good, but it doesn’t seem that I am able to adjust the volume.

Probably the best headset strap that I’ve owned for the Oculus Quest 2, however there are a couple of features that are a bit wonky. The headphones for this piece are pretty decent and are good for those with larger ears like me, however when trying to lift the headset to see something like my phone or to talk to someone, they don’t tend to stay in place and move forward. They also are not the best quality headphones, for an extra ≈$40 I feel they would be better and it can get hot underneath quite easily. If you buy this strap, I’d stick to the version with only the strap or the charger.

The strap itself is incredibly comfortable and does a lot to balance the weight of the Quest 2 on your head. In terms of comfort, its a no-brainer. However, the included audio is, not to sugarcoat it, bad. I wasnt exactly expecting sonic gold for a $20 addon to a $40 headstrap, but I was still shocked by how poor the audio experience was. Incredibly muffled and lacking in detail. If all youre buying this for is to make the headset comfortable and less loud, itll do the trick, but Ill personally be buying this strap without the headphones and jury-rigging a pair of KSC75s for audio. That will ultimately still cost less than this strap and will sound much, much better.
