Klein Tools 69445 Magnetic Hanger Without Strap for Klein Tools Clamp Meters and Multimeters with Powerful Rare Earth Magnets

I am comparing this to the magnetic holder for my fluke 87. This klein holder with my klein meter wont even stay attached to the side of my refrigerator. It sticks and then slides down slowly. Granted, the side of my refrigerator has texture to it but the fluke is heavier and stays attached like it was glued on. On smoother metal panels this magnetic holder and Klein meter do a better job.

After having a magnet holder for my meter, I cannot stand to use one without it. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it comes off too easily to the point that I have to put silicon on it to make it stay on my meter. Other than that, it is a must-have for my Klien meter!

I have the CL220 which is new model so I was a little surprised to see it listed among the mnodels this fits. I figured Id have to buy based on other similar models using the same case and mount. And indeed this fits the CL220 fine as shown. It a good strong magnet. I thought the price was a bit high since it costs more than the magnet that comes with a strap. Im going to get that one too because I want the flexibility of having both. I do see the price dropp $2 the day after I bought one. Oh well. Seems to happen a lot. In any event it is a nice addition to the meter and being able to free up a hand is often, well, handy.

If your Klein meter says this magnet is compatible with your meter, buy it. Don’t hesitate.

Perfect fit for my clamp on multimeter. Nice strong magnet, makes it much easier to do multiple tests.

Amazing addition to my Klein meter. Super helpful when working in fire control panels above my head, lets me use both hands for the leads!
