I use it for my Handyman projects and have great accurate results.

I bought this to look for moisture in vehicle carpets and headliners to shorten my diagnostic time finding electrical problems and water leaks. Paid for itself already on the first use by not having to lift all the carpet, but just the area that showed high moisture. Lifted the carpet and found water damaged wiring.

Great for checking water/moisture under hardwood flooring that is 3/4 inches thick. The screen is easy to read.

I’m trying to dry in a basement and have to make sure it stays under a certain moisture level. This unit is of high quality and is super easy to use.

Initially the item worked well assessing moisture content on a sailboat. Then it suddenly would only display an error message. This is clearly a cheap product that works well, most moisture meters run around $300-400, so assuming the next one works for a reasonable amount of time this will be a great value. We shall see.

Initially it read 0.0% on all drywall. With several battery changes it started working and actually reading pretty accurately. It worked fine for a stretch and is now reading 0.0% again on all drywall. Have changed the battery multiple times hoping to bring it back with no luck. Because of this I would not recommend this product.

I bought both this Klein and a TopTes moisture meter. They both give wildly inconsistent results. I suppose I should’ve pooled my money and bought one higher priced unit???

Buy these if youre looking at houses to buy, save yourself headache down the road!

Would like not to select material since I only work with hardwoods but that’s my only slight crittisism.
