> 3 dayThis center is exactly what my setup needed after upgrading my towers to the R820fs. I originally bought the R-34-C that Klipsh recommends but ended up returning it because it was extremely underwhelming for the $399 price tag. I had been was back in fourth between the too but I just didnt want to spend $750 on the 504c but luckily for me it went on sale for Klipsh Christmas in July sale $450 altering using it I would have been happy to pay the $750

> 3 dayThis klipsch RP-504C sounds great. I upgraded from my previous R-52C which is also a good center channel. But of course 504c sounds better. Dialogue are clear when watching movies. I also have to mention that the Seller did a great job, I got my product days earlier. I also got this on sale since Klipsch is running it’s promotional sale. Thanks Amazon!

> 3 dayI have RP-280FA fronts, RP-150M surrounds, and RP-500C center. I always thought the RP-500C gets a little drowned out by the front, so I replaced it with the 600C. The 600C was actually worse than the 500C, so I returned it to my local frys electronics store and got the RP-504C. Im now very happy with my HT system. The 504C is louder (has more ooomph) and sounds better than both speakers mentioned earlier even when set to Large on my Yamaha receiver. If you already have the 500C and are thinking of upgrading to 600C, dont do it, you will be disappointed. Skip the 600C and go for the 504C, otherwise, stick with 500C.

> 3 dayThis speaker tries to do TOO much, is my diagnosis. It is large, four big woofers (large relative to most center channels) and the tractix horn.... and thus, all the effects and whatnot overwhelm and bury the dialogue into a recessed position. Yes, if you turn it up real loud you can hear everything, but then youre shaking the house... fine if thats what youre looking for. But what about just standard watching? Normal, lets watch a movie or tv show and be able to still have a conversation - type watching...? Then this speaker is not so good; indeed, youd be better off with two-channel stereo for music listening (or maybe just ditch the surround sound altogether, just sayin ) and a good clear-dialogue soundbar. For a $900 (or $650... or even $300) a center channel should be able to do it all instead of being one trick pony of crank-it-up-or-you-wont-understand-it type product.

> 3 dayI added this speaker to my theater room and the sound is so crisp and clear now. I absolutely love this speaker I wish I would have bought it sooner, I would definitely purchase if you are looking to upgrade your system. the speaker is large so make sure you have room to add it.

> 3 dayI have been chasing the perfect center channel speaker for a long time. Sony, Boston Acoustic, ELAC etc. In varying degrees they were good and very good. Still, the dialog in movies or vocals in music were still thin, what best I can describe as papery. Then I purchased a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls. I had a wonderful sounding system before but now I was in high cotton. And now my latest center speaker--an ELAC, which was an excellent sounding speaker--really was missing the quality of the Cornwalls. The RP 504s really proved they are up for the challenge and stand up very well to the Cornwalls. Now the sound quality is seamless across the front. The movie dialog is finally is theater quality. The voices have depth and presence and stand out even with the competition from the Cornwalls in the front, Heresys as surround speakers and RP 600ms as height speakers. Lesson learned. The center channel speaker is critical especially for home theater. Dont skimp.

> 3 dayits massive and heavy.... maybe gold bars inside. new vented tweeter has a very clean reproduction. transparent (sound develops in front of speaker rather than from the speaker itself if that makes sense) and powerfull sound.
