> 24 hourI have no way of knowing that a less expensive oil filter wouldnt do as good a job, but I have trusted K&N products for years and have never had any reason not to do so. I take meticulous care of my vehicles and expect to -- and do -- get 300,000 miles out of my engines with no oil-related issues. For that reason, I use K&N products whenever I can. I also use only full synthetic oil and change it every 5000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.

> 24 hour2000 Dodge Stratus I dont have any scientific results that say this filter has any better performance than other filters Ive used on my car but I havent had any problems either. The main thing I like about this filter is the nut on it that makes removal a breeze. Putting filters on my car for hand tightness is easy but I find my car can be difficult to remove with spacing around the filter area if the filter sticks at all. Being at the bottom gives easy access to tools to just break it loose and then continue by hand.

> 24 hourFor filtration I only use K&N easy to take off with hex nut top.

> 24 hourI use these on my Polaris UTV as they seem to be a quality design and construction as well as being easier to remove due to the nut on the end if needed.

> 24 hourBest oil filter on the market for the money you cant beat it it adds performance it ends up saving you money because you only have to change your oil filter and oil every 10,000 miles as long as you use synthetic its just an amazing product I highly recommend it.

> 24 hourI bought this filter to do oil changes on my 1998 Dodge Neon ACR. This K&N filter seems to be of higher quality than most other filters (just by weight and look alone), and I absolutely love that you can loosen it by using a wrench (youd only want to tighten by hand, fyi). I can tell you that there have been times Ive changed oil for other cars of mine or friends and I had a heck of a time getting the filter off (my filter clamp isnt universal and sometimes didnt fit some of the smaller filters). Always be sure to get some oil on the ring/gasket of the filter so prevent it from binding. I typically use Purolator PureONE filters, but I got a few of these for a reasonable price and decided to try something different. Of course, I have only good things to say, but I cant statistically give any measurement for how well these work... I can only assume it did a great job for the 3,500 miles or so that each filter was on my car.

> 24 hourIve always used Mobil One oil filters and these K & N are excellent. Theyre built well, priced right, and the added welded nut on the outside end is a fabulous idea. Makes changing oil filters so much easier on many vehicles. I use it now all the time. Cant believe no other manufacturer has done the same. Im switching to these specifically because of that added feature. No more trying to find the proper oil filter cap, no more stuck caps, no more problems getting dirty when the cap sticks and you need to try and remove it. All gone. Simply use a socket on these K & Ns. My only regret: I didnt try one sooner. Im sold on these.

> 24 hourPhotos show Premium Gold filters - not what is delivered. Main difference is filtration level. Gold is 10 micron filter. Premium filter is 60-80’s micron filter.

> 24 hourThis particular one was made in the USA . I had no leaks. Screwed right on. My only complaint is that it has too much filtration and has less oil flow due to that. K & N makes good cabin air filters and engine air filters and thats all they should stick to. Im going to stick with my $6 Toyota filter. These things are over priced. Bottem line it will work but I will not buy again.

> 24 hourIve been using K&N filters for years. Its all I use for the oil filter, air filter, and even the cabin air filter for my car. It doesnt make sense to skimp on the oil or the filter when they are so important to the life of your vehicle.
