I use this filter on all my Subarus, because oil flow is important to a Subaru engine life span. Combined with full synthetic oil, I perform my oil change every 10K miles with no issues. Yes, I add oil every 3 months, but thats a Subaru thing. 10 years and 4 Subarus since my first oil change with K&N Oil Filters and I cannot recommend it more.

hmmm..not sure how I should review this. Ive used these filters for years and no issues. But recently, starting seeing lots of threads or posts on social media regarding leaks. Do your own google search and youll see a lot more leak posts. Looks like the culprit is from spot welds around the nut on the filter. I also been tracking my car heavily so seeing possible leaks is no bueno. Needless to say, I wont get these anymore. Too bad, it was my fave filter.

When looking for a non factory filter this is one of the best filters you can buy. Ive had them in all my cars.
