> 24 hourBlocking has always been my least favorite part of knitting. Utterly tedious pushing individual pins along a scarf or shawl and Id always end up missing one or two when I went to remove them and yank it out as I removed my finished piece. I used one box to block my shawl and had it pinned down in just a couple minutes. Each blocker has holes in it and you can thread some string through them to block picot edges too -- theres instructions inside the box on how to do it, so its not just for straight edges. You wont regret this purchase.

> 24 hourSuper easy knit blockers, where have you been all my life?! The pins are very sharp and stay just where you put them. These really take the tedium out of blocking lace: a process that I used to dread has now become a pleasure. One box is not quite enough for a pointed shawl, so I will be buying more. Ive knocked off one star because these blockers are more spendy than they probably should be and - heres the real caution - some of the sharp pin points have tiny little burrs that can snag your knitting if youre not very careful. I mean, burrs so small that you cant really see them, but your fine knitting can certainly feel them. Another reviewer mentioned that she will file her blockers down, which is what I plan to do, except that I worry that filing them may make them more likely to rust with future use - and that would be worse than having the burrs! So, I will ask the folks at Knitters Pride before taking a file or sandpaper to the pins just to make sure that I wont be causing further problems. These really are very nice tools that I recommend to anyone who dislikes blocking with T pins or wires - just be careful when removing the blockers and support your knitting with your fingers, rather than yanking the blockers out, to minimize opportunities for snagging your fine work.

> 24 hourI’m currently using these for blocking afghan squares. They are perfect for this. You have to be mindful of the pins, as they are very sharp. They are a bit longer than the thickness of my foam blocking mats. Using a second mat underneath the first helps solve that problem. No complaints here. I liked them so much I ordered a set for my daughter, and she was delighted with them also.
