Threads would work on cords. Ordered different size from other company and they worked fine. Returned these for a replacement and had the same problem, will wait and get them at knitting shop.

I know and like this brand of interchangeable needles from having purchased them at small brick-and-mortar shops. They have a good feel and dont bend like needles of other materials. This particular size was one that I didnt have; theyre definitely worth sewing a new caddy for my set.
