Knowledge Adventure Jump Start 4th Grade

I got this for my 8 year old son to use during the summer before 3rd grade. I figured it might be a little hard but was hoping that with the different levels it would be challenging but not too frustrating for him. Its been great. I admit, it doesnt have the cool graphics or interactive interface that the jumpstart worlds have, but my son loves it and its been really great practice in all areas. I had to help him learn some of the math concepts (how to simplify fractions, rules for rounding large numbers, etc.) but now hes doing it all on his own. The geography section is pretty hard too, and it would be awesome if there was something they could click on for a hint, but with a little patience hes been learning lots of cool facts and is learning great geography. Overall, definitely a great value (although as Im writing this my son just said he thinks he beat the game, and weve only had it a week . . . =-)

This is an older program. Not worth the money when your kids are use to the speed of iPad apps

These games are the perfect summer entertainment for kids. It is fun and educational. They dont even realize they are learning.

Jump start has many great learning game software. I also get my kids reader rabbit games. My kids enjoy both. Jumpstart is challenging and fun. My daughter asks if she can play it and as a parent it is always ok to get educated. I recommend this to parents who have a pc and allow their kids to use it for educational purposes.

Jump start products are the go-to items you NEED to get your toddlers reading and engaged! The format, coloring, visual quality of their stuff is awesome. We started all our nieces/nephews and children on their cds. Kids love this stuff, so it makes your job as a parent easy! Highly recommend!

This program has been updated for current OS. It is as I remembered it when my son used it some years back. I am going to tutor a child and this is perfect material. It works. Awesome.

My son loves it and is learning a lot.

My kids are homeschooled and I was looking for a fun, educational game for them to play, and while I have not played this myself, they love it a lot and it is a good, age appropriate award for them when they get their real work done.

Way to difficult for a 4th grader juat started out. Also having HUGE issues withbit loaded with out crashing.
