> 3 dayThey will not ship it in a orderly time because they want you to purchase a Kindle so they can further lock you into staying on their platform, Ive noticed this for years. The Kobo readers always show ship in 3-4 weeks or theyre unavailable. Either order it from Rakuten or Walmart. Kobo doesnt restrict you to just using PDFs and MOBI files, you can actually use the following Books: EPUB, EPUB3, PDF, and MOBI, and PDF. It supports CBZ and CBR if you read comics. They also allow for expansion storage, which no Kindle does.

> 3 dayAfter less than one year it does not charge or connect to a PC. Battery? Micro USB charger? I also have an Aura H2O. That one still going after 6 years !

> 3 dayMy Kobo Aura has never worked according to its marketing and owner’s manual. The only way to upload books is from their over-priced store; library upload features do not work. Customer support will argue with you about how it’s ok the features don’t work. So now I’m stuck with a device that I have to keep putting more money into. Toxic landfill. My town doesn’t need that.

> 3 dayI love the Kobo Aura so much I bought this to replace an older unit that was having issues. The small defect with this Aura is the bottom lights shine up through a small gap and four cast shadows along the bottom of the screen. It nearly drove me crazy at first but now its just a minor inconvenience. Its a quality issue, this unit should not have been sold in the condition it is. I will keep it as I read everyday and cant be without it. I will however consider a different brand when replacing this unit. Thanks

> 3 dayReading books on the Kobo Aura is difficult. The page rendering is is slow, and when scrolling down to read the lower half of the page, the device will zoom out randomly and move a few pages ahead or backward. Dont waste your money on this ereader!

> 3 dayThis worked great for about a year - then, it stopped syncing with my overdrive account. No big deal, a pain, but ok - so I had to go through Adobe Digital Editions. Worked fine, then the device was no longer recognized as being authorized - so I couldnt read anything. Its ridiculous at Rakuten owns Overdrive & Libby, yet this device failed miserably. Customer service was abysmal as well. Stay away. Id suggest buying a Kindle or another companys e-reader as this one is terrible.
