Love the design, but had issues with the metal plate staying attached to the phone. I cleaned the phone case and attached the magnet plate. I waited 48 hours to use the phone with the holder. The metal plate detached from the phone and stayed with the holder within a week - twice. Very disappointed as I thought it a great solution. The adhesive is not strong enough to keep the metal plate attached to the phone.

So cool that they offer these! My phone got wet, and when I ripped off the cover, I forgot all about the metal plate in it. So thrilled when I found that I could order just the metal plate! Love this device and the little metal plates!

I have three koomus CD slot magnetic phone holders. I recently upgraded to the Samsung S9 using an OtterBox defender case. I placed the metal plate between the plastic case and rubber shell. Unfortunately, the koomas plate interferes with the wireless charging for the phone. Im not sure if a rectangular hole in the plate would help allow the phone to charge, but if you plan on using these plates, it will not allow you to charge wirelessly.

Love this item. Weve gone through all mobile holders for the car and I should have gotten this first as it does what it says. Havent had any issues and the phone stays on without a problem.
