> 24 hourOkay, this is simply a projector. You put any image in the box and it projects that image down on a table with a 250 watt lightbulb so you can trace an image, thats it. The bakery my family owned for 40 years bought one of Kopykakes 1st models back in the late 70s to trace images on cakes which we then would airbrush color in. This little machine made us money hand over fist for some 3 decades. I used to use it to trace artwork and projects for school. I have no clue why no one else has designed a machine that does what this does, but its simplistic design made for projecting an image down on any surface is invaluable for many different applications. I dont know why other reviewers give this a one star rating because they think it should have a usb port for a DLP projector, or that it should look like a tv screen, but they are absolute idiotic morons. Have you got a printer with your computer? Then print a picture and stuff it in the machine you buffoon! It doesnt take a genius to run this thing. Its just low tech simplicity that gets the job done. I was able to use one of these when I was 6 years old. If you want something to use as a guide to trace an image, this is for you. The only drawback I remember as a kid was that you needed to use card stock because thin paper would get roasted in it. Im not sure if this is fixed in these new Kopykake machines or not. Fantastic machine that does a simple job so well and I have never found any other design that does it as efficient and easy as Kopykake does.

> 24 hourJust as described. I wish it had more instructions on how to use it and problem solve with the image. But, other than that it works great.

> 24 hourIt was a little concerned when I saw some of the reviews, stating that it takes a while to get comfortable with using the projector. For me, not at all the case, printed off a picture put it in the projector and away I went. I tried a couple of practice cookies, super easy to use from the start! And the service from the company is excellent! One of the light bulbs included was broken, I emailed the company had a response within a couple of hours that they would send me a new lightbulb. And lightbulb is received within a few days.
