With all of the various ports, this is the perfect expander for your laptop. There are never enough ports on any laptop these days, and I really like that I can connect so many things through one of the 2 USB-C ports on my laptop, leaving one more maybe for a second hub? ;)

This will be the 3rd docking station like this that I have had to buy. Hopefully this one will last a bit longer. Thus far it has been great! I love that you can do so much with a single port. I have used it to add additional monitors, provide LAN connection, while providing USB to a mouse and keyboard without any issues. I highly recommend and would buy it again.

Its compact. Supports 5 USB ports, an HDMI, Ethernet, and VGA ports. Ideally the cable from the dock to the computers USB C port would be a little longer. My computer sits on slanted platform with the high end 5 inches. That cable is only 6 inches long. So the dock hangs a bit. Thats my layout that is the issue, not the docks.

I have a number of USB devices, and I always have a problem trying to find the right place to plug them in. Ive had trouble with all sorts of devices - from flash drives to game controllers - and finally realized that I was just plugging them into the wrong ports. So I bought this hub and its been great. I can plug everything into it, and the USB ports are easily accessible. Right now I have it connected to my IMac so that I don’t have to reach behind my monitor to plug stuff in.
