Good product. It was not easy to install.

I bought this 6 diameter extension so I could add a coupler and make my AC unit be further from the window exhaust. Combined with the coupler (purchased separately) it worked perfect. Quality of tube construction is acceptable, its not super high quality but it looks durable enough to last a few seasons. Just make sure you buy the right turn (either clockwise or counter-clockwise). I found that both of my floor AC units we both counter-clockwise, so Id guess most of them are? Dunno, check yours first.

Our house A/C was out for the better part of a week - blown hard-start capacitor. While waiting for parts or a repair person (they arrived first so I used them) we needed some relief from the heat. My trusty portable A/C to the rescue. Unfortunately the windows in the house are higher than the exhaust provided with the A/C could reach, so for the first 2 days I put it on the kitchen counter. Not a great solution. This longer vent hose did the trick. Installed in seconds, seems like the same material as the original.

The apartment I was living in has terrible insulation so the AC works overtime and, unlike this much sturdier Kraftex AC hose, the original hose had quickly burned and fallen apart. I went through a lot of duct tape and pieces of metal duct trying to fix the old hose before finding the Kraftex one here. It fit my generic imported AC unit perfectly with the advantage of being long enough to reach the window and still allow movement of the air conditioner. I noticed right away that this hose was made of superior materials compared to the original hose. It was definitely worth buying to replace the original.

I am being forced to rate this product so I will choose 5 stars even though I have not used it. This product appeared to be paired with other items which are necessary to install this exhaust hose in a window. Unfortunately, all the other items that I got were designed to go with a 5-inch in diameter hose, whereas this hose has a diameter of 5.9 inches. So I am stuck with an exhaust hose that doesnt match the other pieces I ordered. There is nothing wrong with the hose I got as far as I can tell. It is just the wrong size hose for my needs. I am disabled and so I had to wait until I got help to install the items I ordered. I am sure I did not get the help until the 30-day return window had passed. I am going to see if the seller is willing to swap the 5.9-inch hose for a 5-inch hose so that I can finally get the air conditioner installed before I melt from the temperatures we have been having, between 90 degrees F and 100+ degrees F.

Item came reasonably well packaged and as described. Does what its supposed to do and feels like decent product and not some super cheap rip off.

My old hose chipped and started falling apart. I rested this hose with very low expectations. I’m surprised that it’s much better than the original.

Vent hose nice and long no need for a crate under my ac unit anymore!
