> 24 hourWhat can you say about Kreg screws, or anything else they manufacture? They work better than expected and I use them every chance I get.

> 24 hourSometimes if youre planning to drill on harder wood or what not, it may strip the top of the screw a little bit. Other than that, it works well.

> 24 hourThe screws are excellent. In over (at least) 10 years of using them on projects, I have never had a screw break even when screwing them into very hard woods (such as 25-year-old cherry). To me that fact represents a near-miracle. They are excellent and I have never had any problem with them not holding where and how I had installed them, and I have built (best estimate) at least 50 different projects using them - including some shop furniture which took a severe beating and died: but ALL of the screws were still in place holding their broken pieces of wood just where I had put them (thats after someone literally dropping a 300+ lb box on top of a not-all-that-sturdy outfeed table BTW). I had to down rate them because of a situation which at least one other reviewer has mentioned (and which two of my woodworking friends have had happen to them as well). The plastic box comes from the factory with 1200 screws in it (just as advertised) and there is a hefty nylon strap around it which keeps the strap in place until it is cut off the box - it is sufficiently tight that it can NOT come off by accident. But before it was shipped, that strap was removed, and when I received the package (there was only very mild damage to the box, and there was one hole in it, but it was relatively small Im not sure that a screw could have passed through it. Opening the package and discovering the huge number of screws all over its interior, having read the review of someone else who had the same thing happen, I decided to count them. There were (IIRC) 1054 screws in the package, not 1200. To me this was unacceptable and I complained to the vendor via amazon-email. NOTE: instead I should simply have returned them. Live and learn. What I asked for was that the vendor send me either (a) a package of 106 screws, or (b) to send me a sealed retail package of 100 screws (of the same type of course). But the only solution which the vendor would agree to was to give me a $5 refund on the purchase (it may have been $10.00 - I was miffed at the time and didnt write it down for some reason). In either case if the vendor did so i cannot tell because Im having difficulty finding any reference to it in my amazon customer messages. This situation left a bad taste in my mouth (so to speak) and I will order from a different vendor next time. It is also the reason I did not give this purchase five stars. The screws are EXCELLENT and I heartily recommend them to anyone who uses pocket screws: these are so far superior to the knock-off versions Ive tried that there is really no comparison. Recommended without hesitation.

> 24 hourThese pull a lot tighter that the KREG 1¼ FINE thread screws, and will break through finished side of assembly. I countered this by reducing the depth of my drill bit, and decreasing the torque on the drill itself.

> 24 hourAfter building my kitchen cabinets with pocket screws I was completely out and have polished off about half of these finishing up the drawers and face frames. Great product.

> 24 hourScrews are a good quality, did not snap one yet with clutch. Tap not as sharp as they were in early 2000. Normal now for Kreg screws past 6yr.
