Excellent product for your money. It doesn’t leave your hair greasy, the scent isn’t overpowering, it’s just clean. I love Kristin Ess Products!

Ive bought this shampoo a couple times from ulta and this one on amazon seems to not smell like it at all

After having a dry, itchy scalp for a while, my best friend recommended this brand to me. And let me just say I have nothing but good things to say. It actually cleans my hair, smells amazing even after fixing it after washing, so bouncy, leaves no residues behind, and is a shampoo I will never stop using now!!!

So let me first start out by saying my hair type is thick and wavy. Most of my head consists of 2b type. I have some sporadic straighter parts on top, and some curlier pieces in front of my ears and temples. But for the most part, I am 2b. The individual strands themselves are pretty fine, but I have A LOT of hair. Moving on. I wanted this stuff to work SO BAD!! I tried the signature shampoo, the signature conditioner, as well as the reconstructive moisture mask. I have washed my hair 3 times because I think it takes at least that many opportunities to truly see how my hair will respond to a product. And man I regrettably must admit that I was very disappointed. This stuff destroyed my scalp. and I mean destroyed it. Dry to the bone, itchy, flakes so bad, just horrible. It also dried my hair pretty badly too and gave me lots of frizz on top. Textured hair types already have a tendency to be on the drier side (mine definitely falls into the dry/frizzy category if not well maintained), and it just amplified that to the 1000th degree. I am not really sure why I had the experience I did, but I can only attribute it to possibly the level of alcohol all three of these products have, though I am no expert. Alcohol is the second ingredient on both the conditioner and the mask. The mask had such ungodly amount of alcohol in it I could barely smell the fragrance over it. Literally guys it smelled like I was sniffing a bottle of Everclear. I really dont know how this stuff had so many good reviews after the experience I had. I did give it two stars though because Im SO obsessed with the fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner. It is hands down top 3 smells of hair care I have ever used. The scent itself is phenomenal, plus its high intensity, and lingers for days and I loved that. (If youre sensitive to fragrance/get headaches from fragrance easily, beware). The mask has the same scent as the shampoo and conditioner, but like I said I could barely smell it over the alcohol smell.

I have been using this shampoo for about a month now and I love it a lot. It smells really good and works very well. If you use this please try the hair mask, you won’t regret it.

A great clarifying shampoo with a nice scent. Very sudsy. You only need a small amount for long hair. Should last for some time. For those prone to acne breakouts, this did not break my skin out.
