Greater than one weekThese are a unique product - between gouache and watercolor. They dry with a shine. They have potential, but I find them difficult to use. I prefer my old watercolor set.

> 3 dayThis is my second pan of Kuretake and I am absolutely in love with these watercolors! I needed an affordable set with a good array of colors that could be easily transported and these fit the bill perfectly! The colors glide on smoothly and are creamy and vibrant. You can use them thick like a gouache or traditional watery. Im a sucker for Winsor & Newton and Grumbacher watercolors, and these offer the same high quality at a fraction of the cost. Im a professional artist and I recommend these to everyone, beginners and experts alike!!

> 3 dayNot your normal watercolors. I love them but if you want thin transparent washes youre not going to like them.

> 3 dayThe colors in this palette are exceptionally beautiful. My wife cannot stop raving about how vibrant they are and steadfast. She did not care that they were targeted towards beginners. They worked for her in everything she has applied them to. The size of the trays of color are large and fit larger brushes . As well, there are many many colors to choose from. Knowing this product came from and was Japanese, it makes sense that it was priced appropriately. We both highly recommend getting this palette is you love using watercolors with bold, vivid colors!

> 3 dayThe paint had black marks in a lot of the colors. Also the paint pots are not full. They look to maybe contain a quarter of product in each little pot. Disappointed.

> 3 dayI like the large design of the pans. Beautiful and brilliant unique colors that still look very natural. It has a few very unique colors you wont find in other brands in a 48 set. Would like to see this in a tin like the Caran d Ache Neocolor II. BECAUSE OF THE SPECIAL COLORS I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO SOME DELICATE SUBJECTS PAINTING LIKE FLOWERS ETC.

> 3 dayVery new to water color and so far this is one of the best if not the best since it is very different from our “western” water color paints. I used the cheat canson Xl and the Princeton Summit brush with these watercolor and boy are they amazing! I would definitely buy it again for sure!

> 3 dayThese paints are part watercolor--part gouache. They are fun to use right out of the box. With 48 colors, you dont have to mix paints much. Vibrant colors.

> 3 dayThis paint is very vivid. I you are the type of person that likes to mix paint before use, this is not for you. On the other hand if you are like me and ignored ever college art professor warning about mixing paint on the paper (or letting colors bleed together) this paint is for you. This paint blends very well.
