Kyoto Gardens

I was looking for inspiration for the small garden I am about to create when my new house is completed in the northeast. The tours of the Kyota Gardens did that very well, not that I am going to try to duplicate these ancient gardens but Ive come away with lots of ideas--garden paths to die for, for one.

This is something else. Beautifully presented and perfectly matched to music (if you switch it on). After seeing the gardens for myself, I can say the photos chosen brilliantly represent the feel of the gardens. The insightful essays discuss all aspects of the gardens, their history and design. A visual masterpiece.
