So disappointed...the pencils came with a sharpener. It is terrible and quite a few of the pencils came apart.

Just what I expected! Loved them!

While they are cute and served their purpose, I was disappointed in how easy the broke while sharpening. Also the base is not properly secured and pops off. Most them lost the base and at least five broke and cracked while being sharpened.

These were a big hit for party favors at my daughters, Harry Potter themed birthday!! Kids ages from 7-13 loved them!!

Ordered these for an office Hogwarts/HP Party. Last year, I had the broomstick pens and plastic colorful wands. Found these pencils for this year -- dark wood color and feels solid in hand. Havent tried sharpening to use as a pencil (make sure to explain to others that it is a pencil; its not immediately obvious!), but I think most of us will be keeping them in tact anyway.

These wand pencils are so cute! Write very well, but as noted in other reviews they are larger than standard size pencil. Only comes with one sharpener.

These pencils make a very good party/ classroom favor for a Harry Potter themed birthday. One of the pencils lead broke upon sharpening, so I cannot speak to the long term durability of the product.

Painted them for a party

We bought these as favors for my sons 11th Harry Potter birthday party! I love that they are useful as pencils when the kids are done playing with them; not just another party favor to buy and throw away. The only issue is the handles are not glued on well and would come off. Not a big deal as that is an easy fix. Or just throw that part away (they are wood, not plastic!) And use the pencil.
