L-Shape Corner Connector U Shape LED Aluminum Channel System (U Channel Type)

Although these corners dry fit nicely, they are the BIGGEST PITA that I have used in a very long time. I have been installing LED lighting for the past four years in my home and in friends homes. I just tried these on a recent project in a closet at my house. If you are trying to use the light strip without cutting it, it is almost impossible to make the turn without damaging the LED strips. The routing of the LED lights is such a problem that I almost gave up and removed the corners altogether. But I persevered and was able to finally get the LED strip through the corner. NEVER again will I use these corners. Ill go back to cutting the U channel and making the corners the more efficient way, then installing the plastic lenses over the U channel and into the corners. Yes the plastic corners look nice BUT are something I will never use on my LED projects. They are in the recycle box....

I just wrapped up my fist LED strip install and used these corners. Absolute mistake. Its essentially impossible to feed any amount of LED strip through the corner, and if you do your solder / connections through the corner first, you cant get to the holes up actually screw the corners down. I ultimately ended up cutting a slit into the corner piece to slide wires through. I dont yet know what the better solution is, but I know there has to be one.

I love how these corners fit well with our LED strip channels. It helped to maintain fanciness with 90 degrees corners. Throughly satisfied!

This product can not be used with the standard LED strip lights and track. There is no way to put the corner into the corner and snap it together. It’s virtually impossible.

The description says there are only L connectors, but the picture shows L connectors and straight connectors. There are both types as in the photo. The strips and plastic covers are 1 meter in length. 4 foot lengths would be more helpful, but not European. The plastic covers are polystyrene, which means that in a couple years they will start to yellow and become more opaque and brittle. Acrylic strips would solve the yellowing problem, and be worth the added cost. There are no predrilled mounting holes, so these need to be drilled if the strips are to be mounted using screws. The metal bases are extruded aluminum with sufficien.t thickness to maintain their shape and structural integrity. The plastic covers fit snugly. Very nice base and cover combination.
