La barraca (Narrativa) (Spanish Edition)

The book came up when I was searching for The Shack and since my wife is Dominican I decided to buy it for her. However this actually a novel written by a turn of the century Spanish author.

Id read this book back in high school. Its a great book. A story of sadness and a hard life.

Spanish masterpiece that effectively uses the Naturalistic technique to portray the life of misery and despair experienced by 19th Century Spanish peasants.

Me parecio un buen libro, a pesar de estar ambientada en epocas consideradas pasadas y el autor murio hace tiempo, el tema es de actualidad, la intriga de las comunidades pequeñas y el poco juicio crítico de los individuos que pertenecen a los grupos son temas vigentes.

Lenguaje exquisito e instructivo. Mantiene el suspenso hasta el final. Es un clásico de la literatura. Abona al en requecimiento de las letras.

Challenging Spanish

This is a must read, the free version has a few misspelled words however it does not affect the reading. Highly recommend!
