Does the job of storing my external hard drive. Im not one to pour water over it, but I have put it in my bag to travel with my hard drive with no issue. It does exactly what I need it to do and has room for a few extra cards.

The carrying case is very compact. It is very solid. It came with several ways to connect the carrying case to your backpack or computer bag.
